Canadian Silver Wildlife Series
The Canadian Silver Wildlife Series began in 2011, featuring some of Canada's most beloved, and for some endangered, wildlife species. The Royal Canadian Mint is revered for their fearless take on new and creative coin collections, departing from the usual one dollar silver bullion coin. Producing smaller collections allows collectors and investors the ability to keep a unique and diverse collection. From 2011-2013, the Wildlife Series entailed two coins minted a year and each honoring a different animal. The Wildlife Series are one ounce .9999 silver coins in brilliant uncirculated condition, with slight remarkable proof-like features. In 2013, the Royal Canadian Mint ended one Wildlife Series and began another. In the new series, the coins were minted bigger and thicker, resulting in a 1.5oz .9999 silver coin. Both Wildlife Series contain low mintage coins that are quickly disappearing from the market. For a collector or investor looking for a change of pace, the Wildlife Series is the perfect investment refresher!
