Due to our lousy economy I was forced to sell some of my silver investments. Hoping the transaction would go smoothly at Golden Eagle Coins, where I initially purchased the coins a few years prior.@ 19.33 per oz. I was prepared for the heavy loss due to silver prices around $14.00 per oz. as well as the possibility of not being able to sell back any or all of my silver denominations. To my surprise, selling back went very smooth, Elizabeth counted up what I had did some calculations and came back with a nice amount. Been buying numismatics and metals from GE for like 7 years now and it's always my go-to stop for personable, old skool one-on-one service...even with the drive from the Eastern Shore; the staff there is like family. The new Canadian Mint 10 oz silver bars are a Godsend and thanks for GE to start carrying them...shortly after my phone inquiry when they didn't have them. Several weeks later...the bars are on the inventory!! We joke that GE has become our alternate "bank" I spend so much time there. Best wishes to Mr. Mangles Sr re his health condition; I sure miss his wit and wisdom...he figured heavily in my metals and numismatic education with his personable style and I consider myself fortunate to have crossed paths with such a gentleman.
