This 1897-S Barber Quarter, graded Extra Fine (XF), is a well-preserved example from the popular Barber coinage series designed by Charles E. Barber and struck at the San Francisco Mint. The coin retains strong design details with light, even wear on the high points, and much of the original definition remains visible on Liberty’s laurel wreath, hair, and the eagle’s feathers.
