Peace Silver Dollar Uncirculated 1935-S

The 1935-S Peace silver dollar is the last edition of the short series and was also the last time the US would mint silver dollars for over 30 years. Many of the 1935-S silver dollars were either circulated or stored in canvas bags, resulting in BU versions containing contact or bag marks. Collectors interested in the BU versions expect a high premium since they are becoming less available to the public. The San Francisco Mint maintained high quality control during all of the Peace silver dollar's production, minting more sustainable coins. The 1935-S has a strong strike, accentuating the detail in its design on the obverse and reverse.
