Details
The Bust dime was minted from 1809-1837 and was the first dime, in US coinage history, to contain the face value it represented. U.S. Mint Chief, William Kneass, is the creative mind behind the Bust dime design and took a risk when he decided to change some components of the Capped Bust Dime design. The Bust Dime 1834 Large 4 is in very fine condition, exhibiting wear but date is very readable.
