The 1902-O Morgan is affordable in all grades, due to its high mintage. It was once thought of as a rare year and mint-mark, until bags of 1902-O Morgans were sent to the main mint in Philadelphia and placed in a vault. It wasn't until the 1960's that the vault was opened and the bags were put on the market; not as currency but as collectibles. Since there are so many available to avid collectors, their price stay moderately low. The New Orleans Mint had a short life, being decommissioned soon after the ceased production of the Morgan silver dollar. The Old Mint literally didn't make enough money to stay afloat after the Morgan ceased production. Your 1902-O Morgans proudly wear the "O" mint-mark and is in uncirculated condition.
