These coins also come with a higher premium, due to the intensified interest over the years. Carson City, Nevada contained a mint that produced lower mintages of coins. Since this place is known for lower mintages, collectors have been after anything with the "CC" mint-mark for years. Your 1880-CC was minted at the US Mint in Carson City and carries the beloved mint mark "CC." As an almost uncirculated coin, you will notice a few bag marks or surface abrasions. There will also be some wear on Lady Liberty's cheeks and the eagle design on the reverse. Like all other Morgans, your Morgan contains 90% silver and weighs just under an ounce.
