With the exception of 2001 and 2002, the Chinese Panda series changes its reverse design annually, depicting a different panda for each year. Adhering to the metric system, the People's Republic of China not only changed the reverse design, but also changed the weight from one ounce to 30 grams in 2016.
The 2020 Chinese Silver Panda is simultaneously a continuation of the official bullion coin of China series. Collectors can still look forward to a proof-like design on both the obverse and reverse.
