Your 2016-W Proof Silver Eagle comes encapsulated inside a velvet box then is placed into a cardboard box with the US Mint's insignia on the top. Your coin is stamped with the "W" mintmark to show that the coin was mint at the West Point Mint.

The design is of an eagle, protected by a shield, with the infamous Latin saying, "E pluribus unum," written on a banner across the eagle's wings. The eagle's right talon is holding an olive branch to represent a peaceful nation and the left talon is clenching arrows symbolizing the right to defend the country.
