Instead, Morgan wanted to focus on the beauty that is Lady Liberty's face; removing her body from the portrait all together. Your 1879 Morgan silver dollar was minted in Philadelphia but does not carry a mint mark. It contains 90% silver, 10% copper, and weighs approximately 26.73 grams. It is in almost uncirculated condition, which may carry some bag marks or contain a worn surface.
