Details
Restrike of the $50 Quintuple Eagle, made from Kellogg and Humbert ingots recovered from the S.S. Central America. The ship sank off the Carolinas in 1857 and the gold was recovered in 1988. The coin has 2.4189 ounces of gold, and comes in a PCGS slab and display box.
