Great Britain 1650 Silver Dunbar Medal 1760 Restrike

This medal was awarded to participants in the Battle of Dunbar led by Oliver Cromwell against the Scottish. Believed to be the first military medal given to every soldier in a battle. Several restrikes were made over the years, this one being the first restrike made in 1760, identified by the large die cracks. Light hairlines are present from old cleaning.
