Certified US Gold $5 Liberty MS64 1903-S PCGS

The 1903-S Liberty Head Gold Half Eagle is a United States $5 gold coin struck at the San Francisco Mint and certified by PCGS as MS64. Designed by Christian Gobrecht, the obverse features Liberty facing left, wearing a coronet inscribed “LIBERTY,” with thirteen stars surrounding the portrait and the date “1903” below. The reverse displays a heraldic eagle with a shield on its breast, holding arrows and an olive branch, with the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “FIVE D.” The “S” mintmark appears below the eagle, identifying the San Francisco Mint issue.
