This 1837 Liberty Seated Half Dime features the No Stars obverse and Large Date variety and has been certified by PCGS in MS62 condition. Introduced in 1837, Christian Gobrecht’s Liberty Seated design became one of the longest-running artistic themes in United States coinage. The Large Date variety is distinguished by its peaked numeral 1 and date digits that curve with the coin’s rim.
