-Obverse: Every year, Lady Liberty graces us with her eloquent presence on the obverse of every Silver Eagle. Underneath Lady Liberty's delicate feet, is the date of mintage for the coin. She walks in sheer elegance with the rising sun encroaching from behind. The empowering word, "Liberty," is written above her flowing locks and outstretched hands. "In God We Trust," is appropriately etched beside Lady Liberty's cascading gown.
-Reverse: On the reverse, "United States of America," "1 oz fine silver," and "one dollar," are written. This stamp of words proves where the coins are minted, their silver purity, and their legal tender value.
