"Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the coin's date of mintage is included on the obverse.
-Reverse: The national seal of the United States of America is featured on the reverse of every American Silver Eagle. There are 13 stars pictured, on the reverse, that are representative of the original 13 colonies.
