It's amazing how the Perth Mint is able to design and produce a different reverse design every year. Not one coin is alike, alluring in avid coin collectors and investors from all over the world. Your 2015 Silver Kookaburra comes excellently packaged in a mint-sealed capsule and weighs 10 ounces of .999 fine silver. The flawless brilliant uncirculated finish meets high expectations of the perfect coin. The lone bird sits proudly perched on a rugged tree stump, back facing first. The leaves of a eucalyptus tree are surrounding the kookaburra, to indicate where the species thrive. The reverse also bears the title of the coin series, date of mintage, and the purity/weight of the coin itself. The obverse displays Queen Elizabeth II, regally seated and posed to show her lovely side profile. Signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, are enhanced on this portrait to celebrate the Queen's maturity, rather than hide it. The coin's denomination of 1 dollar is also featured on the obverse, to prove its authenticity.
