Since the rabbit is delicate, sweet, and kind so are those born under the year of the rabbit. They are also known to keep a tidy house, calm in time of a storm, and are extremely empathetic when it comes to other's problems.
The rabbit is the fourth animal of the Chinese zodiac and is represented in its year of 2023. This silver rabbit coin was minted at the Perth Mint to continue the Australian Lunar Series III. Each year, a new coin with a new animal design is produced to honor the Chinese zodiac calendar. Each coin is 2 ounces of pure silver and is presented in brilliant uncirculated condition. The reverse of this fine silver coin displays a striking baby bunny with its mother. All of the Australian Lunar Series III coins' animal designs are proof-like while the rest of the coin has a brilliant uncirculated matte finish. Over the sweet bunnies are the words, "Year of the Rabbit". The Perth Mint's mint-mark, "P", is also on the reverse, along with the Chinese symbol for "rabbit." The obverse of the coin is of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, along with the coin's denomination, the year 2023, 2 oz .999 silver, and the word "Australia".
