1873 Seated Half Dollar PCGS PF63 Certified No Arrows

This 1873 No Arrows Seated Liberty Half Dollar was struck in proof format at the Philadelphia Mint and certified PR63 by PCGS. Liberty appears seated on the obverse holding a pole and Liberty cap, with a shield bearing the word LIBERTY at her side. The reverse presents a heraldic eagle beneath the motto IN GOD WE TRUST. The absence of arrows beside the date identifies this as the early 1873 weight standard issued before arrows were added later that year.
