Add an important transitional issue to your collection with this Certified 1873 Seated Liberty Half Dollar Arrows graded PR62 by PCGS. Designed by Christian Gobrecht, the Seated Liberty Half Dollar was struck from 1839 through 1891. In 1873, the United States Mint increased the standard weight of several silver denominations, prompting the addition of arrows beside the date to distinguish the new standard. This historic design modification makes the 1873 Arrows issue a key type coin for Seated Liberty collectors.
