Struck at the Philadelphia Mint in 1859, this proof Seated Liberty half dollar is certified PR63 CAM by PCGS. Its obverse depicts Liberty seated with a shield and staff beneath thirteen stars. The reverse features a heraldic eagle beneath the inscription “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” with “HALF DOL.” below. The Cameo designation recognizes contrast between the design and mirrored fields.
