PAMP Suisse's headquarters are in Switzerland and they provide their outstanding products all over the world. PAMP Suisse produces mostly minted ingots with brilliant visual finishes that are protected in their sealed packaging with the assay card included. This refinery offers several intricate designs but the most popular is their iconic design of Lady Fortuna. Although PAMP Suisse's attention to detail is spot on for gold bars, their 100 gram hand poured gold bars reign as the most popular product we sell from them. PAMP Suisse's range of bars produced begin at 1 gram and continue up to 10 ounces of gold!

PAMP Suisse Designs

  • Lady Fortuna-Their hallmark design is the Lady Fortuna, the Greek goddess of luck. Lady Fortuna has many meanings, including prosperity, great fortune, and bounty, her beautiful face is imprinted on the gold bars.
  • Lunar Series- One of PAMP Suisse's only limited edition options, each bar contain's an animal design that is representative of the year it was produced. Both sides of these bars contain the same theming as well.
  • Religion Series- Another limited offering from PAMP Suisse, the Religion Series offers designs of goddesses, gods, symbols, and places to represent several different religions.
  • Hand-Poured- Not entirely a design but worth the mention, due to the bars' popularity. PAMP Suisse makes their 50 gram and 100 gram gold bars with the hand-poured casts, resulting in a less formal bar. Cast gold bars are a refinery's way of large mass producing in a short amount of time and meeting the demand in the market. Gold is melted into a large tank then poured into molds to cool down. For extremely efficient cooling, these molds are sometimes plunged into cold water. A cast gold bar's appearance is going to be more rounded and not as rigid as minted ingots.

Production of PAMP Suisse Gold Bars

Although the PAMP Suisse Gold Bars are sold at a higher premium, it is because of the excellent quality and intricate detail that keep investors coming back for more. The PAMP Suisse Bars are referred to as minted ingots. The fabrication of these bars is a more complicated process and resulting in a much more refined product. Large cast bars are fed into a stamping press that is digitally maneuvered and will cut the bars into the size/weight that is programmed. This technique lends to the minted ingots' smooth surface and well-defined edges. Minted ingots are also sealed in protective packaging and an assay card that reflects the bar's purity, weight, and metal content.
