Peace Silver Dollar Fine Condition 1927-S

With the lowest mintage of Peace dollars from the San Francisco Mint, the 1927-S is a highly sought after coin. The California-based mint is one of two mints that are still presently producing coins. This was also the believed last year for the Peace dollar and since the US Mint, as a whole, met its quota, the San Francisco Mint greatly decreased its mintage. As silver dollars were being minted, the San Francisco Mint watched sister branches be decommissioned as they soared through high numbers of coins. The San Francisco Mint marks all of its high quality currency with an "S" mint-mark, in order to differentiate from other mint's coins.
