The One Ounce American Gold Eagle Coin is the official bullion coin of the United States of America. Not to be confused with the $10 eagle coin minted in the Pre-1933 era, the American Gold Eagles are usually associated with their weights so it is clear which eagle is being discussed. The reverse also reveals two large bald eagles, the kings of the birds of prey, making a cozy nest out of olive branches.
