This complete 11-coin World War II Silver “War Nickel” set includes all issues from 1942 to 1945, each certified by PCGS in Mint State 65 (MS65) condition. Struck from an alloy of 35% silver, 56% copper, and 9% manganese, these coins were produced to conserve nickel for the war effort. The obverse features Felix Schlag’s left-facing portrait of Thomas Jefferson, while the reverse depicts the iconic Monticello, Jefferson’s Virginia home.
