The Carson City Morgan Silver Dollar 1883-CC GSA MS64 NGC was minted at the infamous Carson City Mint. The Certified Morgan Silver Dollar 1883-CC MS66 PCGS is also preserved in an official PCGS holder. Some will argue that the Morgans minted at the Carson City Mint are the most valuable Morgans to collect. Some reasons for making this statement true are the fact that the Carson City mint began production in 1870 and after some rough patches, closed early in 1893. Also, since this Nevada based mint was so small in stature, it could only produce a small amount of Morgans annually.
