Sacagawea Dollar 2021-D BU

In 2015, the US Mint discontinued their Sacagawea series and began their $1 Native American series. This new series honors Native American's contributions to history, that have been very much overlooked. The Native American still showcases Sacagawea on the obverse but the reverse design will change every year. The 2021-D Sacagawea Dollar carries the date and mint-mark on its rim and is in brilliant uncirculated condition. The Denver Mint takes pride in its reputation, being the world leader of coin production. The obverse features the famous Native American, while the reverse portrays a younger Sacagawea with her father. The reverse honors the Native Americans - Distinguished Military Service Since 1775. This thoughtful design contains 2 feathers and 5 stars and is paying homage to those heroes.
