  • Description:

Being the direct successor of Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge became the 30th president of the United States. Coolidge was a Republican lawyer from Vermont, working his way up the political ladder to becoming Massachusetts' State Governor. He gained national attention with his involvement in the Police Strike of 1919, earning a reputation of a man of action. Coolidge was elected vice president for the controversial Warren G. Harding, and became president after Harding's sudden death. Coolidge won the next presidential election on his own and is historically a favorite president. It has been said about his administration that he redeemed the White House and spoke directly for the middle class. Coolidge was a quiet man with no sense of humor but he was an efficient president that helped the country after a disappointing president.

Calvin Coolidge was a beloved president, who served the nation well. Coolidge's portrait is featured on the obverse of the 2014-P Presidential Dollar, with his term in office. These brilliant uncirculated dollars contain a copper/manganese brass alloy, resulting in the very popular golden color. The Statue of Liberty is on the reverse, as well as the coin's legal tender value. The Presidential Dollar series honors all of the past US presidents, by featuring four on the obverse of each year. Starting in 2007, the first four presidents were portrayed on the first four Presidential Dollars. There are 25 coins to a roll and original paper rolls cannot be guaranteed so please call and we can check our inventory for you. The Presidential Dollar series is ideal for a beginner collector or someone who admires history. With ease and popularity, the Presidential Dollar series is accessible to anyone who is looking for a fun and historical collection!
