Containing all dates and mint-marks, with the exception of the 1895 with no business strikes issued, the Morgan Silver Dollar set is comprised of 95 coins. These coins' conditions vary from Good to Very Fine and are packaged into two deluxe Dansco Albums. This set is a great buy for collectors looking to finish a set quickly and painlessly. It is also a great set as a gift for investment purposes, containing one of the most collectible coins to ever be minted in the US!

The Morgan Silver Dollar succeeded the Seated Liberty Dollar, when the passage of the Coinage Act of 1873 was passed. It wouldn't be until 5 years later that the Morgan was actually produced and placed into circulation. The Morgan silver dollar became the first standard silver dollar minted since the Seated Liberty. It earned the name, Morgan, in honor of the English United States Mint engraver, George T. Morgan. Morgan was responsible for other designs too, such as the Columbian Exposition half dollar, coming from a reputable apprenticeship in England. George T. Morgan was assistant to Chief Engraver, William Barber, when the Morgan's design was conceived and used. Morgan earned the title of Chief Assistant when Barber died in 1917. The Morgan Silver Dollar experienced its fair share of political drama, constantly fighting bills that would unauthorize its production. Although many collectors view the Morgan's last date of mintage to be 1904, it made a quick and short comeback in 1921, when a bill was passed reauthorizing the minting of silver dollars. To this day, there has yet to be a dollar made that has more fans than dates it was minted.
