  • Description:

The American Silver Eagle is among the top silver bullion coins in the world. With all the history and silver implemented in one coin, it's hard to beat the luxury of owning silver eagles. What makes the silver eagle even better is sending it to the best grading company in the US and it earning a grade of MS69 or MS70. Your 2012 MS69 Early Release San Francisco Silver Eagle received the ideal grade of mint-state 69 and was one of the first to be graded by NGC within the first 30 days of mintage, hence the early release title. Your coin was also struck at the US Mint in San Francisco and a label with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge is present on the official NGC holder.

The obverse design was inspired by Adolph A. Weinman's famous design on the Walking Liberty half dollar from 1916-1947. The Walking Liberty design was chosen, due to its popularity by being the most popular image on a US coin in coinage history. This iconic image graces the obverse of every American Silver Eagle; Lady Liberty is delicately draped in a loose fitting dress as she holds dearly some branches in her arm and the US flag over her shoulders. "Liberty," "In God We Trust," and the date of mintage are stamped on the obverse as well.
