  • Description:

Every year, since 2010, the US Mint has produced 5 America the Beautiful coins that replicate the popular quarter series. These coins simultaneously honor US national monuments and parks while also being a great silver investment. Although these coins are 5 ounces of .999 pure silver, they also have limited mintages, which adds to their numismatic value. Whenever a new ATB is released, holding onto it for long can be a challenge since their popularity has only grown through the years.

Encased in an airtight capsule, the 2016 Silver 5oz.Cumberland Gap National Historical Park ATB is in brilliant uncirculated condition and simply showcases the history of the park. The Cumberland Gap is a narrow pass, located in the long ridge of the Cumberland Mountains. The Cumberland Gap was first used by Native Americans has a means to hunt while animals used the gap as a passageway during migration seasons. It is considered to be a part of the Appalachian Mountains and is close to the junction of Tennessee, Virginia, and Kentucky.
