2007 U.S. Mint Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set

The 2007 U.S. Mint Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set is first of its series, including all dollars minted in 2007. The outstanding set comes complete with the 5 golden dollars encircling the American Silver Eagle, which sits at the center of the set. Included in this stunning set, there are uncirculated versions of all four Presidential Dollars, Sacagawea Dollar, and the American Silver Eagle Dollar minted in 2007. Each coin is encased in a rotatable blister and the Certificate of Authenticity is also included for the set. The 2007 U.S. Mint Annual Uncirculated Dollar Coin Set was comprised to make finding all of the circulated dollars easier for collectors.

Since 2007 was the first year of mintage for the Presidential Dollars, all four Presidential Dollars, included in the set, portray the four past presidents: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and James Madison. The Presidential Dollars conveniently depict the presidents' terms in office, as well has their names inscribed above their portrait. To keep the portraits separate from each other, like the presidents, there is a different and unique artist who designed each of the Presidential portraits. Like the Sacagawea Dollar, who surprised collectors with its beautiful golden tone, the Presidential Dollars metallic composition is also comprised of a copper core and a manganese brass out layer, which gives the coin the unique color. The Sacagawea Dollar was struck at the Denver Mint and features the historical Shoshone Native American, Sacagawea. The dollar's reverse and obverse designs were created by sculptor, Glenna Goodacre, and Mint Engraver, Thomas D. Rodgers. The 2007 Silver Eagle carries the "W" mint-mark, alluding to its place of mintage as the famous New York West Point Mint. The obverse features Adolph Weinman's Lady Liberty masterpiece, a Grecian Goddess whose arms carry olive branches and a torch. The reverse features the official national seal with the 13 stars representative of the original 13 colonies.
