  • Description:

The Royal Canadian Mint would like to introduce their first silver bullion coin series: the silver Maple Leaf! Designed after the beloved icon, the maple leaf, this coin series offers silver coin collectors and investors a special opportunity. The RCM achieves the .9999 purity in their products, making them stand out from other mints. Anyone, who is interested, is able to get their clean hands on these outstanding coins! The Royal Canadian Mint takes strides to stay at the top of precious metals technology; always giving invested buyers a reason to come back the next year. Since these coins are .9999 pure, they result in a softer coin that should be stored and protected properly.

Hence the name of this coin series, the maple leaf was the inspiration behind the silver coin design. The design of this iconic symbol is found on the obverse side of the Maple Leaf coin. Every Maple Leaf coin contains an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, by an up and coming sculptor. Arnold Machin was the chosen portrait artist in 1968 and his depiction was the first used on the Maple Leaf coins until 1989. The silver Maple Leaf series contends with the best and is one of the most popular silver bullion coin series. At such an achievable price, it makes sense why many collectors have started their journey and anticipate the minting of a new Maple Leaf every year.
